We are urging the Singapore Government to take ambitious action to bring Singapore’s greenhouse gas emissions targets in line with IPCC recommendations for remaining within 1.5°C of warming — to peak greenhouse gas emissions in 2020, to reduce by 45% by 2030 and net zero by 2050.
As climate action concerns all of Singapore society, we are also recommending that NCCS publish consultation feedback received, together with the Government’s responses, by 1 December 2019.
We welcome feedback and comments on our consultation submission. We hope to inspire and engage Singaporeans at all sections of society — households, policy makers, businesses and grassroots communities — to find their part in our shared pathway to net zero economy. To find out more about that roadmap or how to get involved with us, drop us a note at .
